Guerrero authorities dismantle three clandestine drug laboratories
Authorities have dismantled three clandestine laboratories suspected of being used for the production of synthetic drugs in Atoyac de Álvarez, Guerrero. The operation, conducted between September 30 and October 5 near the community of Las Fundiciones, was the result of intelligence and investigative work.
During the coordinated effort involving the Mexican Army, the National Guard, the Attorney General's Office (FGR), and the Guerrero State Attorney General's Office, officials seized approximately 26,000 kilograms of chemical precursors and 70 liters of various chemical substances. Additionally, security forces secured 15 reactors, 350 LP gas tanks, and eight properties.
The seized materials and equipment have been placed under the custody of the FGR in Acapulco for further investigation and forensic analysis to confirm their link to drug manufacturing and to determine legal responsibilities.
