Gujarat Cabinet honors PM Modi for 25 years of public service
The Gujarat Cabinet has unanimously passed a resolution to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years of public service. The resolution marks the milestone since Modi assumed office as Gujarat’s Chief Minister on October 7, 2001, a role he held for 13 years before becoming Prime Minister in 2014.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other state officials highlighted various developmental initiatives undertaken during Modi’s tenure. These include improvements in electricity supply through the Jyotigram Yojana, water management via the Narmada project and Sauni scheme, and significant infrastructure growth in roads, railways, and ports. The resolution also noted the expansion of the state’s power generation capacity and the establishment of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in 2003 to drive industrial development.
