Other large-scale lighting events include 5.8 million lamps in Madhya Pradesh and 3.6 million in Chhattisgarh.

The campaign features service-oriented activities such as blood donation camps, medical drives, and fruit distribution to hospital patients. In Varanasi, Union Minister Chirag Paswan offered greetings, while in Srinagar, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha celebrated with children.

On his birthday, September 17, the Prime Minister received tributes from President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan, and opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Omar Abdullah. International recognition included messages from leaders in Dominica, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands, as well as the Uruguayan ambassador. While supporters celebrate his trajectory toward ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, political criticism persists; RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has described the campaigns as “misplaced” due to inflation, unemployment, and flood crises in Bihar.
