Gvm Care & Research to provide medical support for 2026 Mediterranean Games

Gvm Care & Research has been named the Official Healthcare Partner for the twentieth edition of the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, scheduled from August 21 to September 3, 2026. The organization will deploy a medical team of 90 doctors and nurses to provide specialized assistance to athletes and technical staff.

To support the event, Gvm Care & Research is coordinating a comprehensive sanitary device including infirmaries, multi-specialty medical stations, and eight advanced rescue ambulances. The organization is also managing a Medical Center and a Shock Room located aboard the vessel Aroya within the Mediterranean Village. This facility will be staffed 24 hours a day by specialists, including anesthesiologists and intensivists, to stabilize patients before potential hospital transfer. Specialized clinics for orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology, gastroenterology, and dentistry will also be available.
