Gwalior: Couple seriously injured in hit-and-run accident

A speeding four-wheeler struck a motorcycle carrying a husband and wife on the Dabra-Chinaur road in Gwalior late Friday night. The impact was severe, causing Gajendra Dubey and his wife, Laxmi Dubey, to be thrown a significant distance from the road.

District Panchayat member Suryabhan Rawat witnessed the accident and provided immediate assistance by transporting the couple to Dabra Civil Hospital in his vehicle. Due to the severity of their injuries, doctors referred them to a hospital in Gwalior for advanced treatment.

The driver of the offending vehicle fled the scene immediately following the collision. Local police are currently searching for the unidentified driver and the vehicle involved.
