Gwalior police arrest three suspects in bus driver shooting

Three individuals have been arrested following a targeted shooting of a bus driver in the Pichhore area of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The victim, Khem Singh Yadav, was critically injured and hospitalized after being lured out of his vehicle.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmveer Singh Yadav, the attackers used a deceptive tactic by placing their car in front of the bus and claiming they needed help due to running out of fuel. Once the driver exited the vehicle to assist, the suspects opened fire.

Police investigations revealed the attack was motivated by an old grudge stemming from a 2022 fatal accident involving a friend of the driver. The suspects, identified as Abhishek Yadav, Arjun (alias Bhima), and Shivam Yadav, were apprehended within 12 hours using CCTV footage and informant networks. The vehicle used in the crime was also seized, and authorities noted that all three suspects have prior criminal records.
