Gwalior school bus targeted in shooting after road dispute

A school bus carrying more than 50 children was targeted in a shooting in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, following a dispute over a parked vehicle. The incident occurred near Badi Akbai village in the Pichhore police station area.

The conflict reportedly began when the bus driver, Khem Singh, asked occupants of a car parked on the road to move their vehicle so the bus could pass. The car occupants claimed they had run out of petrol. The situation escalated into physical violence, with the car occupants allegedly assaulting Singh before firing four rounds from a firearm at him.

While the driver sustained injuries from pellets and was referred to Gwalior for medical treatment, no children on the bus were harmed. The sudden gunfire caused panic among the students. Local police, including SDOP Saurabh Kumar, have visited the scene and are currently working to identify and locate the suspects.
