GWM expands global lineup with Haval H7 and Ora 5 updates

Chinese automaker GWM is expanding its vehicle lineup across different global markets with new SUV and electric vehicle offerings.

In Europe, the GWM Haval H7, a mid-sized SUV with off-road capabilities, has launched in Italy. Prices for the Haval H7 range from 37,000 to 46,000 euros. The lineup includes gasoline, hybrid (HEV), and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains, with some models featuring 4x4 traction and varying horsepower outputs up to 435 CV.

In Australia, GWM is planning an expansion of its Ora 5 electric vehicle range. Expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027, the expansion will include a hatchback and a touring model alongside the existing SUV. The Ora 5 hatch is anticipated to be a more budget-friendly option, potentially priced under $30,000 drive-away. While international markets may see various powertrains, the Australian Ora 5 range is expected to remain electric-only.
