GWM expands South American presence with new electric and hybrid models

Great Wall Motor (GWM) is expanding its presence across South America with several new vehicle launches focused on electric and hybrid mobility.

In Ecuador, the company introduced the ORA 5, a 100% electric vehicle offering up to 435 km of autonomy and over 20 intelligent driving assistance features. In Argentina, the ORA 5 HEV has been launched, featuring advanced technology such as a 14.6-inch multimedia screen and a suite of over 20 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Uruguay saw the introduction of the Haval H7 PHEV, a plug-in hybrid SUV capable of a combined range of up to 1,000 kilometers. Meanwhile, in Brazil, GWM has begun commercializing the Haval H6 HEV One. This hybrid model is being positioned competitively against compact rivals like the Volkswagen T-Cross to attract consumers seeking fuel economy and advanced electronic equipment.
