Gyeonggi Province supports small-scale and rental housing management

Gyeonggi Province has launched a support program for small-scale apartment complexes with fewer than 300 households and rental housing units, which have historically received less management assistance than larger mandatory-managed complexes.

The initiative focuses on three key areas: establishing long-term repair and replacement plans for building maintenance, preventing inter-floor noise through the formation of resident committees, and revitalizing local communities. As of late October, the province has provided advisory services to five complexes, including sites in Bucheon, Icheon, and Gwangju.

Moving forward, the province plans to collaborate with local municipalities to identify more complexes in need of assistance. This includes gathering data on housing status and responding to specific demands, such as organizing prevention activities in areas with high noise complaints.
