Győr Ikarus 200-Series Bus Photo Session Showcases Historic Vehicles

In early July 2025, photographer Bálint and a friend from SD visited Győr to document the remaining Ikarus 200-series buses, a model that was produced for three decades with little change. Over 350 images were captured, highlighting notable units such as the JXW‑453 Ikarus 260, the BN18 prototype (KEX‑595), and the BN12 series, as well as the locally built Credo bus prototypes from the Kravtex factory.

The session also recorded the last operational BN12 prototype, which has since been retired, and featured the LKN‑073 bus at the Révai street station. The photographs aim to preserve the legacy of the Ikarus 200 family, which once formed a core part of Hungary’s public transport fleet.
