H-Power enters 2 million USD demonstration phase with Komatsu

H-Power, formerly known as AFC Energy, is advancing several technical and commercial initiatives. The company is transitioning into a construction and demonstration phase of its partnership with Komatsu Ltd. This phase, budgeted at approximately 2 million USD, is scheduled to run from September 2026 to December 2027 and focuses on coupling the company’s ammonia-cracking technology with industrial diesel engines.

In its commercial operations, H-Power has secured a follow-up order from Speedy Hire for 15 LC30 hydrogen fuel cell generators, pending CE certification. The company has also expanded its international reach by signing a contract with TAMGO to sell two LC30 generators for testing in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, H-Power completed its first commercial sale of green hydrogen in the United Kingdom, delivering 5,000 kilograms from its Dunsfold pilot plant to Protium. To support its market activities, Canaccord Genuity has been appointed as a co-broker.
