Ha Tinh boarding school projects nearing completion for new school year

Construction of two inter-level boarding schools in the border communes of Huong Khe and Son Kim 1 in Ha Tinh province has reached over 95% completion. Contractors are accelerating work to meet a deadline of August 30, 2026, to ensure the facilities are ready for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The Huong Khe project covers over 5 hectares with a total investment of nearly 160 billion VND. Currently, the primary school buildings are 98% complete, while the secondary school buildings are at 95%. Final tasks include completing multi-purpose halls, kitchens, gates, fences, and installing equipment such as air conditioning and fans.

The Son Kim 1 project involves an investment of 140.7 billion VND. It is designed to provide 31 classrooms, specialized subject rooms, boarding facilities, and dining areas to serve more than 1,300 students in the border region.
