Ha Tinh driver rescued after container truck collision

A driver was rescued after being trapped in a deformed cabin following a collision between a tractor-trailer and a container truck at the intersection of the Ky Anh bypass (National Highway 1) and National Highway 12C in Ha Tinh province.

The accident occurred around 9:00 AM on August 23. The tractor-trailer was traveling north-south on the Ky Anh bypass when it collided with a container truck traveling from the highway junction toward the bypass. The impact severely damaged the front of both vehicles and left the container driver trapped and injured. Local residents and authorities used specialized equipment to cut through the cabin, successfully extracting the driver after approximately 30 minutes. The driver was transported to a hospital for emergency treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
