Hagen Fire evacuations increased in Union and Umatilla counties

Evacuation levels have been increased for the Hagen Fire in Union and Umatilla counties due to overnight fire behavior, challenging terrain, and projected weather conditions. A Joint Emergency Operation Center involving local sheriff's offices, emergency management agencies, and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation is managing the incident.

In Union County, several zones have been elevated to Level 3 (Go Now), signaling imminent danger. Level 2 (Be Ready) and Level 1 (Be Set) orders have also been issued for various surrounding areas. Highway 204 has faced road closures as a result of the fire's activity. In Umatilla County, specific zones have also been elevated to Level 3 evacuation status.
