Vietnam provinces drive growth via infrastructure and digital reform

Various provinces across Vietnam are implementing diverse strategies to drive regional development through infrastructure, digital transformation, and administrative reform.

In Quang Ninh, major projects including highways, Van Don International Airport, and Ha Long International Cruise Port are shifting the economy from resource extraction to high-quality tourism and services. Meanwhile, Thanh Hoa is focusing on creating a favorable investment environment to build business confidence and sustainable growth through 2030.

Digital transformation is a key priority in Tay Ninh and Ninh Binh, where authorities are addressing bottlenecks and implementing digital village models to improve public service accessibility. In Ho Chi Minh City, administrative reforms have streamlined the bureaucracy, achieving a 98% on-time processing rate for eligible procedures.

Rural development is also seeing progress through community cooperation. In Bac Ninh and Chi Tien, residents are voluntarily donating land to expand transport networks, which facilitates economic movement. In Ha Tinh, the government is balancing urban expansion with social stability by focusing on resettlement and vocational training for those affected by land acquisition.
