Hai Phong hosts OCOP agricultural and regional specialties week

The 2026 OCOP Agricultural Products and Regional Specialties Week opened on October 15 at the Viet Tiep Friendship Labour Cultural Palace in Hai Phong. The event features 200 booths operated by 123 organizations, businesses, and individuals representing 34 provinces and cities across Vietnam.

More than 2,000 products are being showcased, including 130 booths dedicated to goods rated three to five stars under the One Commune, One Product (OCOP) programme. Featured items include Seng Cu rice, Thai Nguyen tea, Uoc Le pork sausages, and various seafood and specialty products from regions such as Son La, Hanoi, Cao Bang, and the Mekong Delta.

The programme aims to promote high-quality agricultural goods, connect producers with distribution networks, and expand consumer markets. Organizers intend for the event to strengthen supply and demand links, increase the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods, and support rural economic development.
