Hai Phong police secure surrender of fugitive wanted for 30 years

Police in Hai Phong have successfully persuaded a fugitive to surrender after more than 30 years on the run. Tran Thi Loi, born in 1959, was wanted for theft following a decision issued by the Vinh Bao District Police on September 10, 1995.

Following a plan to review and apprehend long-term fugitives, officers from the Hung Dao Ward Police used professional persuasion techniques to convince Loi to turn herself in. She has been handed over to the Criminal Police Department of the Hai Phong City Police for further legal processing.
