Hai students killed in separate traffic accidents in Hai Phong

Two separate traffic accidents involving students occurred in Hai Phong on the morning of October 26.

In the first incident at approximately 6:38 AM, an 11th-grade female student was riding a bicycle at the intersection of My Liet and National Highway 10 in Luu Kiem Ward. She collided with a truck, was pulled under the vehicle, and died at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest the truck driver failed to observe the surroundings properly.

In a second incident around 7:30 AM, a male university student was riding a motorcycle on National Highway 5 toward Hanoi. Near Cau Ghe in Mao Dien Commune, his motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer traveling in the same direction. The student sustained severe injuries and passed away after being rushed to the hospital. Local traffic police are investigating both scenes.
