Hailey Bieber Shifts to Strength Training, Reveals 3‑Move Glute Routine
Model Hailey Bieber says she has moved away from a Pilates‑focused regimen to a strength‑training program that emphasizes functional movements and progressive overload. In a recent interview she noted, “I think [Pilates] is a little over… it’s become a little bit of a fad.”
She works with LA‑based trainer Kirsty Godso, who developed a three‑exercise glute workout for Bieber: a banded glute‑medius hip thrust, a dual‑elevated hip thrust performed with an 18 kg dumbbell, and a single‑leg dual‑elevated hip thrust. Each exercise is done for 12 reps, with 90 seconds rest between sets, repeated for three rounds. Godso explained that high‑profile clients like Bieber need “baseline level of strength and conditioning” to handle sudden work demands, and she focuses on “slow, highly controlled movements that maximize time under tension.”
