The attacks, attributed to the Viv Ansanm criminal gang coalition, resulted in at least 164 deaths and 23 injuries. The victims included 36 women, 21 elderly individuals, and seven children.

In addition to the killings, the RNDDH reported that 71 people were kidnapped and dozens remain missing. The report highlights significant security failures, noting that security personnel in the area had been reduced by 60%. During the August attack, gang members reportedly used surveillance drones to monitor the movements of security forces and deployed scouts to gather real-time intelligence.

The violence also caused extensive material damage to the local agricultural and livestock sectors. The RNDDH criticized the insufficient judicial response and the failure of law enforcement to protect the population despite imminent threats.
