Haiti Ministry of Education releases state exam results
The Haitian Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) has released the initial results for the 2025-2026 academic year state examinations, covering the 9th year of fundamental studies, the baccalaureate, and the École normale d’instituteurs et de jardinières d’enfants (ENIJE).
For the 9th year fundamental exams, results are available across eight departments. The North department reported the highest success rate at 93.45%, followed by the West at 91.90%, the North-East at 91.73%, and the South at 91.45%. Other reported success rates include the Center at 86.24%, Grand'Anse at 85.99%, South-East at 80.34%, and Nippes at 75.50%. Results for the Artibonite and North-West departments are expected in the coming days.
Baccalaureate results have been released for the West and Nippes departments, showing lower success rates of 45.73% and 40.36%, respectively. Meanwhile, the ENIJE exams saw a 70.08% success rate, with 1,759 candidates admitted from the preschool and fundamental tracks.
Minister Vijonet Déméro acknowledged the contributions of state authorities and educational partners in organizing the exams. Certificates and transcripts are expected to be available at departmental directorates starting at the end of the month.
