Hajduk Split eyes transfer of Lindon Selahi from Widzew Łódź

Albanian international Lindon Selahi (27), currently on a two‑year contract with Polish side Widzew Łódź, has been placed on the club’s transfer list. His agent Adrian Aliaj confirmed that Selahi could leave during the summer window, but his €500,000‑a‑year salary is a major obstacle. Hajduk Split have repeatedly contacted Aliaj and are interested in a loan or permanent move, but would have to assume the full wage.

Hajduk’s interest stems from a need for a defensive midfielder after Mihael Žaper’s knee injury left the team without a proper “sixth” player. Selahi, who previously starred for Rijeka and played in the Netherlands, is seen as a suitable replacement to shield the back line and free up other midfielders. The clubs are negotiating terms ahead of the transfer deadline.
