Hakan Calhanoglu returns to Inter Milan training amid contract talks

Hakan Calhanoglu has returned to full group training with Inter Milan following an adductor injury. The Turkish midfielder is a candidate to start in the upcoming match against Parma. While his return is a positive development for coach Christian Chivu, the club is also managing his workload to prevent relapse.

Parallel to his physical recovery, contract negotiations are underway. Reports indicate that Inter intends to offer a new deal that features a lower base salary than his current 6 million euro earnings, but will include increased performance-based bonuses tied to his health and sporting results.

In contrast to Calhanoglu’s progress, defender John Stones remains sidelined, working individually due to a hamstring injury sustained against Udinese. Meanwhile, Wilfried Bonny has returned from international duty and is available for selection.
