Halkidiki: Serbian national dies after drowning in Trini Ammouda

A 56-year-old Serbian national has died after drowning in the Trini Ammouda sea area of Agios Nikolaos, Halkidiki.

The man was pulled from the water unconscious. Although a local lifeguard provided initial first aid, the efforts were unsuccessful. He was subsequently transported by ambulance to the Agios Nikolaos Health Center, where his death was confirmed.

The Third Coast Guard Department of Nea Marmara, under the Ierissos Port Authority, is conducting a preliminary investigation. An autopsy has been ordered by the Forensic Service of Thessaloniki to determine the exact cause of death.
