France hosts diverse Halloween and Celtic-themed cultural events

Various cultural and seasonal events are scheduled across France to celebrate the Halloween period and its historical roots.

In Rieux-Volvestre, the Village Gaulois is hosting Samonios from October 17 to November 1, 2026. The event focuses on the Celtic New Year through historical demonstrations, artisan workshops, and family scavenger hunts to explore the origins of Halloween.

Other regional activities include a wellness and divination salon in Le Rove, featuring tarot, astrology, and energy healing. In the Beauce region, Destination Beauce has organized nearly 30 activities, including haunted houses and themed runs. The Wow Safari Peaugres is offering themed animal menus and nocturnal tours, while a Candlelight concert at the Maison de l’Océan in Paris will feature Halloween film classics performed by a string quartet on October 30.

Additionally, themed celebrations include fireworks and a dedicated Halloween village at Guiguitte.
