Halloween festivals planned for Hunedoara and Bucharest

Various Halloween celebrations are scheduled across Romania. In Hunedoara, Urban by WERK will host ‘Terror Castle – Halloween Night’ on October 31, 2026. Part of the Campus Fest brand, the event features a dark aesthetic with music by Roby and runs from 23:00 to 05:00.

In Bucharest, the West Side Hallo Fest returns to the Lacul Morii embankment in Sector 6 from October 30 to November 1. The fourth edition, themed ‘ORIGINI – Inainte de povesti’, focuses on Romanian mythology and folklore rather than commercial horror tropes. The festival will feature installations inspired by figures such as Iele, Muma Padurii, and Solomonar, constructed from natural materials.

Attractions at the Bucharest event include concerts by artists such as Andra, Vama, and Zdob si Zdub, alongside children's workshops, theater performances, and a gastronomic area featuring seasonal dishes.
