Halloween: The Game announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X

The horror video game ‘Halloween: The Game’, developed by IllFonic and Gun Interactive, is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The title features asymmetric multiplayer and a single-player story mode that follows Michael Myers from his escape from a psychiatric hospital.

In the multiplayer mode, players can choose to be the killer or the victims. The gameplay emphasizes stealth and survival, allowing players to hide in closets or cut telephone lines to isolate homes. The killer character possesses supernatural abilities to move and attack with superhuman speed.

Physical editions are scheduled for release on October 6, 2026. A standard edition is priced at 39.99 euros, while a collector’s edition is available for 149.99 euros. The collector’s edition includes an action figure by Trick or Treat Studios, a lenticular print, and exclusive character cosmetics. Additionally, a new map titled ‘Orange Grove Estates’ has been announced, set in a luxury neighborhood in Haddonfield.
