Halton Regional Police seize $5 million of cocaine and methamphetamine

Halton Regional Police announced the seizure of an estimated $5 million worth of cocaine and methamphetamine after a months‑long joint investigation dubbed Project Jester. The operation, which began with a traffic stop in March and included a May raid on a commercial site in Brampton, uncovered 20 kg of cocaine and 273 kg of meth, the largest meth seizure in the service’s history. Two men were arrested and charged with multiple counts of trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking, and are being held pending bail hearings.

Deputy Chief Jen Davis highlighted the bust as a major step in disrupting large‑scale drug trafficking networks that operate across the Greater Toronto Area.
