Hamburg hosts major wind energy and hydrogen trade fairs

The WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 trade fair, held from September 22 to 25, served as a major hub for the international wind industry. The event drew approximately 40,000 specialists from more than 100 countries to discuss technological innovations and the energy transition. DÖRKEN utilized the platform to present corrosion protection solutions specifically designed for the wind sector, including 2K room-temperature curing coating systems and products manufactured without intentionally added PFAS.

Simultaneously, Hamburg is hosting a major hydrogen and carbon dioxide trade fair. This event expects to attract over 20,000 participants and features more than 1,000 exhibitors, including major industrial players such as Siemens, Siemens Energy, and Evonik. The fair focuses on the supply industry, acting as a central point for procurement and integration within the hydrogen market.
