Hana Financial Group completes Cheongna headquarters and financial town

Hana Financial Group has officially completed the construction of 'Hana Financial Town' in Cheongna International City, Incheon, marking the end of a 15-year investment project initiated in 2012. The opening of the new Cheongna Headquarters consolidates the group's core functions, including the headquarters, an integrated data center, and the Hana Global Campus.

Approximately 2,200 employees from 10 affiliates, such as Hana Bank and Hana Card, are relocating to the new facility. When combined with existing data center staff, the town will host roughly 4,000 finance and IT professionals. This concentration is intended to accelerate digital innovation, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven services.

The project is expected to generate approximately 3.4 trillion won in direct and indirect economic impact over the next decade, with an estimated 15,000 jobs created. To support regional growth, Hana Financial Group plans to establish a 200 billion won ‘Unicorn Fund’ to nurture local innovative companies, with total investment resources potentially reaching 400 billion won. Additionally, the group will provide 150 billion won in guarantee support for technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises.
