Hana Financial Group Cheongna headquarters development

Overview

Hana Financial Group has completed the construction of ‘Hana Financial Town’ in Cheongna International City, Incheon, concluding a 15-year investment project. The new headquarters consolidates core functions, including an integrated data center and the Hana Global Campus, to host approximately 4,000 finance and IT professionals.

To support digital innovation and a hybrid workspace, SK Telecom, Samsung Electronics, and Hana Financial Group implemented the financial sector’s first 5G private network-based smart office. This infrastructure allows employees to access internal networks via mobile devices without being tethered to wired connections, utilizing multi-layered security measures to meet strict financial requirements.

The project is expected to generate significant regional economic impact, including the creation of an estimated 15,000 jobs. To foster local growth, the group plans to establish a ‘Unicorn Fund’ to nurture innovative companies and provide guarantee support for technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises.
