Hanam City holds advisory meeting for new Children's Hall

Hanam City held the second meeting of its second-stage advisory committee to discuss the construction of the proposed Hanam Children's Hall. The committee, consisting of 15 experts in architecture and childcare alongside local residents, reviewed interior design plans that incorporate feedback from previous sessions.

Key features being integrated into the design include inclusive spaces for children with disabilities, interactive digital content that responds to movement, and improved facilities such as sinks in rest areas for feeding and hygiene. The city is also pursuing Barrier-Free (BF) certification to enhance accessibility.

To support the project, Hanam City has secured 500 million won in special grant taxes and 800 million won in special adjustment grants. Additionally, the city has established a business agreement with KidZania to leverage expertise in planning and operating experiential content. The goal is to create a complex cultural space that fosters creativity and curiosity through play.
