Handmade Markets Scheduled in Akashi and Kitakyushu, Japan, Summer 2026

The Akashi City Civic Plaza will host the "Nomad Mart" handmade market on July 30, 2026. More than 1,000 local crafters and food vendors will showcase unique handmade items and specialty snacks from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In Kitakyushu, the Kokura Handmade Marche Executive Committee will hold the "Kokura Handmade Marche 2026" on September 26‑27 at Kitakyushu Messe. About 1,100 booths will present over 20,000 crafted goods, ranging from jewelry to baked treats, and twelve hands‑on workshops will be offered. Admission is 500 yen (pre‑sale 400 yen) with free entry for children under elementary school.
