Hani Qobaisi calls for Lebanese unity to confront Israeli aggression

Lebanese MP Hani Qobaisi, a member of the Development and Liberation bloc, urged all Lebanese factions to adopt a single internal stance against Israel’s military actions. Speaking at a memorial organized by the "Amal" movement in Saadnayel, he said Israel claims to target militants but in reality kills civilians, soldiers, officials and bombards state institutions.

Qobaisi warned that Lebanon cannot tolerate unfounded concessions to Israel and cited Imam Musa al‑Sadr’s call for national unity when confronting the Israeli enemy. He reaffirmed the movement’s opposition to direct negotiations with Israel, urging parties to suspend internal disputes until the aggression is halted and the south is liberated.
