Hankook concludes Formula E tire supply era in London

Hankook has concluded its four-season tenure as the exclusive tire supplier for Formula E following the final races in London. Since January 2023, the Korean brand has supported the GEN3 and GEN3 Evo eras, gaining significant data and experience in electric mobility.

As the championship transitions, Bridgestone is set to become the new tire provider. Aki Tech, an Italian company led by Fabrizio Bardi, has been established specifically to manage Bridgestone’s logistics for the upcoming Gen4 era. Notably, Bardi’s previous company, Bert Srl, managed the logistics and tire mounting for Hankook during its four-year period in the championship, marking a rare instance where a single support entity has served two different major tire suppliers in the series.
