Hankook Tire to host free safety inspections in Daejeon

Hankook Tire & Technology is launching its ‘Tire Boy’ safety inspection campaign in Daejeon. On the 12th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the company will provide free comprehensive tire inspections at the Daejeon Expo Citizens Plaza parking area.

Participating vehicles will receive free air pressure replenishment, tread wear measurement, and manufacturing date verification. Drivers will also be provided with a ‘tire inspection report’ detailing the results for both front and rear tires to assist with ongoing maintenance. This campaign, inspired by the ‘beer boy’ concept at baseball stadiums, aims to promote safe driving environments and proper tire management.

Following the inspections, the company will host the 12th annual ‘2026 Sharing Concert’ at the same location starting at 6:00 PM. This social contribution event invites approximately 2,000 social welfare workers and volunteers from the Daejeon and Chungnam regions, while also remaining open to the general public for free. The concert will feature performances by various artists and prize drawings.
