Hanoi allocates over 62,000 m² for Tiên Dương Park City social housing project
The Hanoi People's Committee approved the transfer of 62,275.2 m² (about 6.2 ha) of land in Phúc Thịnh commune to Vihoce Tiên Dương Investment Joint‑Stock Company for the Tiên Dương Park City social‑housing development (Tiên Dương 1). Of the parcel, 28,167.6 m² is earmarked for residential buildings and 34,107.6 m² for green space, water‑treatment facilities and traffic infrastructure, with the investor exempt from land‑use fees for the housing portion.
The Tiên Dương Park City project covers a total of 44.59 ha, includes roughly 3,530 apartments and 99 low‑rise houses, and is projected to accommodate about 12,465 residents. The investment value is estimated at VND 9,307.4 billion, of which VND 8,690.4 billion is for construction and VND 617 billion for compensation and land‑acquisition costs. Ground‑breaking took place in December 2025, with construction scheduled through 2030 and a 50‑year operational horizon.
A second nearby development, Tiên Dương 2, will span nearly 40 ha. Its first phase, on 9.7 ha, will feature five 20‑storey towers containing 2,075 apartments for roughly 8,300 people. The project is a joint venture between Saigon‑Bac Giang Industrial Zone JSC and Evergreen Sustainable Development JSC, and is part of the government’s plan to deliver at least one million social‑housing units by 2030.
