Hanoi appraises Sun Group's proposed Ba Vi Safari project

The Hanoi Department of Finance is currently appraising an investment proposal for an eco-tourism complex in Ba Vi, which includes a Safari park. The project was proposed by Sun Group (specifically Sun Group Real Estate JSC).

Due to its classification as a Group A project, a municipal appraisal council has been established to review the proposal. During the review process, the council requested a reassessment of the project's scale to evaluate current land use and the potential impact on local residents, organizations, and households. The goal is to minimize disruptions to local livelihoods and balance socio-economic development with the legal rights of the community.

Following this review, the preliminary scale of the project has been reduced to approximately 200 hectares. However, officials noted that this figure is preliminary, as the exact boundaries and scale will only be finalized once the official planning is approved by competent authorities. The project is currently in the investment policy appraisal stage and must still undergo further procedures, including detailed planning development.
