Hanoi creates five task forces to standardize data on over 4 million land parcels

Hanoi City government has established five task forces to directly monitor, expedite and coordinate with communes and wards in building the national land‑record database covering about 4.19 million parcels. Each team, led by a deputy director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment—Nguyễn Minh Tấn, Tạ Văn Tường, Nguyễn Đình Hoa, Vũ Xuân Tùng and Nguyễn Mạnh Phương—oversees 22‑27 local units, together covering all 126 commune‑level jurisdictions.

The teams are charged with resolving difficulties in surveying, cadastral registration and data editing, operating until the end of August 2026 and then dissolving. By 21 June 2026 the city had entered data for more than 2.12 million parcels (about 50.6 % of the total) and raised the proportion of information meeting the “accurate‑sufficient‑clean‑livable” criteria to roughly 37‑38 %. The city aims to complete records for about 2.7 million parcels—including 2.1 million already standardized and 600 000 needing map revision—by 30 July 2026, with the remaining ~1.2 million parcels to be finished by 30 August 2026.
