Hanoi Faces Extreme Heat This Weekend Before Heavy Thunderstorms

Hanoi will experience a brief heat wave this weekend, with perceived temperatures climbing to 41‑43 °C on June 13‑14 after already reaching 38‑39 °C on June 12. The hot spell follows a few cooler days and is expected to prompt widespread use of air‑conditioning.

From the night of June 14 onward, northern Vietnam is forecast to enter a large‑scale thunderstorm period.
