Hanoi introduces 28 electric buses on new routes

Hanoi has expanded its green public transportation network with the introduction of 28 electric buses on routes 22A and 22B. Operated by the Cau Buou Bus Enterprise under Transerco, these 60-seat vehicles began service on October 5, replacing diesel-powered buses.

The new fleet features low floors for easier access, equipment to assist passengers with disabilities, and a distinctive green design incorporating local cultural motifs. This deployment is part of Transerco’s broader green transition roadmap, which aims to increase the proportion of green vehicles within the company to over 51% by the end of 2026.
