Hanoi launches Digital Trust Club at KOL conference

On 24 July 2026, Hanoi hosted a KOL (Key Opinion Leader) conference that also marked the launch of the Capital's Digital Trust Club (CLB Niềm tin số Thủ đô). The ceremony gathered senior officials from central ministries, representatives of the Hanoi city Party Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Competition Committee, the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications, as well as police, technology experts, TikTok Vietnam, media companies, artists and influential content creators.

The event highlighted the growing integration of digital life into all sectors—politics, economy, national security, culture and social welfare—and stressed the need for trustworthy digital environments. Attendees discussed the club’s initial mission, vision and objectives, aiming to foster safe online spaces and strengthen public confidence in digital services.

Key speakers included Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Telecom Authority, who emphasized the importance of digital trust, and senior military and party officials who participated in the opening ceremony and presented floral honors to the club’s leadership.
