Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway to open October 2026

The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway is scheduled to begin full operations at 0:00 on October 1, 2026. Developed by the Vietnam Expressway Development Investment Corporation (VEC), the nearly 58 km project spans Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai provinces.

The expressway serves as a critical East-West transport axis, connecting the Mekong Delta region to Southeast Vietnam. It provides direct access to the Long Thanh International Airport, the Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port, and various industrial zones, significantly reducing travel times between the western provinces and the southeastern coast.

Key infrastructure components include the Binh Khanh and Phuoc Khanh cable-stayed bridges. The project utilizes non-stop electronic toll collection (ETC). Toll rates are based on vehicle type and distance, with a service fee of 2,000 VND per PCU/km. Total investment for the project is approximately 29,587 billion VND.
