Hanoi officials hold dialogue on Ring Road 1 land clearance

Hanoi Vice Chairman Do Anh Tuan chaired a dialogue with citizens regarding land acquisition for a multi-purpose infrastructure project. The development aims to construct parking facilities, green spaces, and gardens on the land strip between Ring Road 1 and La Thanh Street, specifically the section from Hoang Cau to Lang Ha.

The project involves the acquisition of 166 land parcels, affecting 164 households and two organizations. To facilitate resettlement, the city plans to provide 151 land plots at the GS1 resettlement area in Thuong Cat Ward and 151 apartments at the CT1 Xuan La resettlement area in Nghia Do Ward.

During the meeting, Vice Chairman Tuan instructed local authorities to review and resolve 129 citizen petitions within 10 days. He emphasized the need for full transparency, requiring the O Cho Dua Ward People's Committee to publicly disclose specific details for each household, including the exact area of land acquired and the specific location and structure of resettlement housing. The city confirmed that funds are available for compensation, support, and temporary residence costs.
