Hanoi Police to trial ‘Hanoi Smart Police’ application

Hanoi Police are set to begin trial operations of the ‘Hanoi Smart Police’ application starting September 2. Developed in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, the app aims to modernize command and control operations while facilitating administrative reform.

The application serves as a digital gateway for citizens to interact directly with law enforcement. Key features include the ability to submit reports regarding security and order, schedule appointments for official work, and activate emergency SOS signals.

Internally, the platform includes a professional module to help police forces receive, classify, and process information synchronously and accurately. Major General Nguyen Hong Ky, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Police, emphasized the importance of preparing infrastructure and conducting public awareness campaigns to ensure the application functions effectively.
