Hanoi prepares cultural celebrations for Vietnam's 81st National Day

Hanoi is organizing an extensive schedule of cultural, artistic, sporting, and tourism activities to commemorate the 81st anniversary of Vietnam's National Day. The programming aims to showcase the capital as a modern and civilized city through various performances across the city center and peripheral areas.

Key events include theatrical performances by the Hanoi Cheo Theater, the Thang Long Music and Dance Theater, and the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. Specialized programs such as ‘Encanto del Cheo de Hanoi’ and ‘Historias de Hanoi’ will be staged to highlight local identity. Additionally, approximately 50 itinerant film screenings will be held in various communes outside the city center.

A political-artistic program will also be held to celebrate Vietnam's historical milestones, tracing the nation's journey from independence toward a socialist democracy. This program is designed to honor the thought and morality of President Ho Chi Minh while valuing the country's revolutionary and cultural traditions.
