Hanoi proposes removing 7 housing projects from pilot list

The Economic and Budget Committee of the Hanoi People's Council has agreed to remove seven housing projects in Vinh Hung Ward from the list of pilot commercial housing sites. This decision follows a review of a proposal by the Hanoi People's Committee to adjust the list of land areas designated for pilot projects under National Assembly Resolution 171/2024/QH15.

The seven projects in Vinh Hung include the Linh Nam Housing Area, Vinh Hung Housing Area, Happy Home Housing Area, 124 Vinh Tuy Housing Area, a mixed-use complex at 1 Alley 321 Vinh Hung, a mixed-use housing and commercial project, and a residential-commercial-service complex.

In addition to the Vinh Hung sites, the Committee agreed to remove two projects in Phuc Thinh Commune—Nam Hong Housing Area and another residential project—because they fall within the scope of the Bac Thang Long Urbancity multi-purpose urban area project. In total, the Committee recommended removing nine land areas, totaling 65.3 hectares, from the pilot list, a lower figure than the 16 areas (112.1 hectares) originally proposed by the People's Committee.
