Hanoi reports surge in dengue fever cases and rise in COVID‑19 infections
The Hanoi Centre for Disease Control recorded 146 dengue fever cases during the week of 17‑24 July 2026, a rise of 50 cases from the previous week. Three new dengue clusters were identified in the Chương Dương, Thanh Oai and Việt Hưng areas, bringing the city’s total of active clusters to nine out of thirty identified since the start of the year.
