Hanoi Techcombank International Marathon officially opens

The 5th edition of the Hanoi Techcombank International Marathon has officially opened in Hanoi. Organized by the Hanoi People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Techcombank, the event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and boost the city's cultural, tourism, and service sectors.

The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including Vu Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Committee, as well as representatives from UNICEF and UNESCO. The event marks the launch of the ‘Million Steps for a Healthy Vietnam’ campaign.

Over the past four seasons, the marathon has attracted more than 54,000 athletes from 57 countries and territories. For the 2025 season, the event is estimated to generate an economic impact of approximately $13.7 million (over 350 billion VND) through tourism, accommodation, and commercial services.
